Great topic. I wonder if some of the younger ones on here even know what an "album" is? The first I bought on my own was in 1977. It was the Eagles, "Hotel California". I played it over and over and over. I remember the cover art and how protective I was about the album itstelf not getting scratched. Hubby and I have a great collection of old albums that he has collected since he was young. It's really cool to go back and look at them every now and then. Good topic.

OK, I feel really dumb. I didn't notice you asked for which Metallica album was your first until after. I thought the question was what was the first album you bought? I am so sorry. I am having brain issues today, lol.

Well that's ok haha. I was talking about just an album, I bought it on CD. The first RECORD I bought was a metallica album as well. Lots of people don't know what a record is, I 'm 26 so I'm not that old and I still know what one is. I took a music class in college once and we were talking about records and some girl had no idea what we were talking about it was hilarious.

hi. my first album i have bought is These Days From bon jovi, but it isn't my prefer group music. i prefer nirvana, guano apes and da weasel, a portuguese hip hop group. I buy many albuns in a mouth. sometimes i bought 10 or more albuns. I'm a fanatic for music.

The first Metallica album I bought was while I was in high school... after hearing Master of puppets that was borrowed from one of my friend at the time.
I gave him back the day after then I went to the music store and bought their latest album at the time ...and justice for all.
Since that time I am a Metallica fan.

Metallica Metallica - Better known as the ' Black' Album.
The best ever of their work to my mind..
The best song on the album would have to be Of wolf & Man... just awesome
