cannot edit pictures

did anyone notice that you cannot edit pictures onces you uploaded it?

I've noticed that once i add a picture my discussion and uploaded it, It happened when i uploaded a wrong picture for a discussion and wanted to delete or modify it, theres no way i can delete it or modify it. i think mylot needs to look into the matter.

I had that happen to me once too. I uploaded the wrong pic and hoped I could edit it but couldn't. Hopefully they will fix that.

yes, there's no separate tab for delete or edit photos in the discussion, but thru the "preview response", we can do that to make sure the picture we uploaded is correct before posting like we do with our responses.

Instead of fancy stars, I think mylot should have given us edit buttons. Then we could have done something to improve our posts. A few days ago I hit the wrong button and uploaded a blank black photo. And there was no way whatsoever to remove it. Ugh. Sometimes I have a photo I uploaded follow me around and show up on the next thread and then it's totally off topic. I've written to MYLOT about it and never gotten a response. I'm actually thinking of sticking to other computer forums and only coming back here after they install an edit button for photos and text.

That's really a bad thing. Why don't you e-mail myLot admins? Try to e-mail them with that "problem" and lets hope they fix it as soon as possible!

i try to be precise but can't help it sometimes as there are thousands of pictures in my folder and i do tend to upload the wrong picture for the topic.

Yeah I noticed that too and was afraid I might upload the wrong one, so now I don't even upload them much anymore. Only when I start a new discussion.

It is the same for replies and discussuions. I agree that we should be able to edit as part of myLot rules state that photos have to be relevant to the discussion and errors downloading without preview are more common than we would like to think. Spellcheck would be nice too.

i think speel check would be a good tool if added but i think it will make the pages more time to load then normal as adding spell check utility would need addition some more scripting.

yes, we cannot delete the uploaded image and cannot edit a response after posting it ! posting the response bit is difficult since noway we can edit it. but as far as image uploading is concerned, wat i do is to go BACK or cancel the whole page and try to upload again. try and do that, that is the only way. make sure to copy ur discussion, if it's a long good one, and paste it in the new page. thanx and lemme know

yeah i noticed that because one time i uploaded a picture and it turned out to be one that i uploaded right before it (system gliche with mylot) and i could not delete it. that does not make sense.

Yes you are right . after uploading we can not edit uploaded photo. so please see photo before uploading. I think mylot should make a option for it.
