Agreed. Sounds weird but my religion is actually based on 8 religions and we take them as moral teachings and learn all the good things from it. Somehow I do believe there's God because my, there are people I've seen who are being spiritually controlled, writing or answering people's questions towards health and life, and apparently God answered it quite well. Believe it or not, these people don't learn much but they are able to write chinese, arabic, all at a go if they are being spiritually controlled.
(Just for your info which you all might find a bit weird is that among the 8 religions in there, there's Christianity, Islamic, Buddhism, Taoism etc all in one religion sorta like a full package). Cheers.

This depends upon the person and how they think and feel. I believe in God and have faith in my daily life. I feel treating others with respect is one of the most important things one can do. I would like to find a good church to attend eventually, but I feel God is most important.

Yes, SOME people need it cause they can not think for themselves so they fall to relgion to answer all their questions or to give them a reason.
To others, it's not that they need it, it's just part of them. Me, I just feel like it's part of my being. I have a conection to some thing that is not on this planet, but something bigger. Does that makes sense?

I am not religious and I am perfectly fine. I see no need to be religious, I like just being me. I belive in nothing, and I like it that way. So no people don't need religion, but they may like to have it.

I am not religious either and I totally agree. It is something that some people like to have, but they don't really need it.
Thanks!!

Religion has many uses for many people. I believe religion is essential as tool in the world for the psychological evolution of people. As we evolve psychological we create more and more advanced religions and spiritual paths. There are some new religions out there with great promise. I argue that we should not judge all religions by the mistakes that some have made in the past. And, not all religions are the same, some do not even require faith or belief. What makes a religion a religion is the stated purpose of some spiritual goal. How we define spiritual can vary from person to person and culture to culture. There are variations that have not even been thought up yet. The point though is in were religion takes us. Many of the modern advancement of our world would not have been possible without science, and science would not exist if it were not for its spiritual and philosophical origins. Now that science exists its advancements continue to reshape the face of religion and together the two of them are reshaping humanity. Even Science is a religion in a sense.
I do not have a religion but I am glad the world does have religion.

I should add that just because one does not feel that they personally need religion does not mean that others do not need it. Who am I to devalue something that so many others partake in and find value in and have found value in for centuries? I'm just not that arrogant. So since I would guess most of the world has a religion or spirituality, or science of some sort, and I can see thoughout history that much good has come of it. Then yes we need it.

There are two ways to worship God.
One....man made rules of that religion on how and what to do.....that is not for me.
Two....faith, a one on one relationship with our maker, and salvation. That is what I know everyone needs.

We don't need religion!
We must just be spiritual.
Religion has nothing much to do these days except for creating fights and bridge between people!
people just fight in the name of religion
I think we all must follow the fact that there is only one God!
we should stop dividing ourselves on name of religion!
Spirituality gives us peace of mind and soothes us.
It adds a meaning to life!
It proves beneficial in many ways too and unliek religion there are no tedious customs and believes to be followed blindly!
Spirituality is the truth!

Everyone needs something to believe in...I believe in the man upstairs personally. It changed me life completely around when I didn't have anyone else to turn to and I'm forever thankful to him for that! Yep, he's a cool feller, short temper, but a good friend. LOL!
