Sounds like you are doing a great job. I also am looking to sell my images. I have done photography for a long time. Mainly photographing children, sports events and high school seniors. I havent done much this past year(family reasons) but am looking into getting back into the swing. I am also looking to expand and do some different things.
I have some different things in my photos, take a look and see what you think.
When you sell stock photography dont you have to have lots of images? Never done that and was just curious. Good luck! Also I would love to chat with you some more. Maybe we should all start a club.

The advantage to microstock sites is that you don't have to have a large portfolio. Mine is only about 50 photos and I make a little here and there. I only work on it about a day a week. I'm sure if I spent more time I'd make more, but I don't have that kind of time, yet.
Generally, it's those who have over 150 photos who make good money doing it. But, again, you don't have to have a large portfolio to start. I highly recommend it.
Shutterstock is my favorite. It's where I sell my largest volume.

Wow, you are shotting microstock? How well are your picture selling? I just started and only upload some just to test whether My picture pass their criteria or not. Some of them are accepted and some not.
So can you share your microstock gallery here? Or can you pass some tips to for what to shot.

Yup. I've only made the payout once so far but i've just got a new camera so i'll be uploading loads more. I'll message you my galleries address as i can't paste yet. My tips are don't give up, use the forums as the people there can really help and check the top downloaded images to see what sells and get an idea of what doesn't. Good luck!

I currently have a Canon 300D, would love to have the rebel XTi, waiting for the prices to drop a bit first. Will probably purcahse it in six months or so. My digital rebel (300D) still takes great pics :)

Congrats! Microstocks are a great way to make a little extra cash. I've been doing it for a few months now. I have a pretty good success rate. I use a Canon 300D. I'm hoping to make enough to upgrade to the 400D.
I have found, though, that photos with people sell a lot better than those without. That means finding models and getting them to agree to sign the model release. So far I've been using my two cute girls. Their photos sell pretty well. I just need some with business-type people.
I wish you well.
