who beleives in going to church?

People who go to church are like those who go to the doctor. They are going where they know they can get some help. Just because people go to church doesn't mean they are perfect or never sin. The only perfect, sinless person was Jesus Christ. We just want to learn to be more like Him and church is where we are going to learn that.

I think your girlfriend needs to realize that you respect her decision to NOT go to church, so she needs to repect your decision if you WANT to go to church. If you are attending church for your own beliefs, then don't stop just because she does not agree with it. She is entitled to her own opinion and beliefs, but she should also try to not pressure you into her way of thinking.

People who go to church are like people who go to the doctor. They know where to go to get help. Of course there will be people in church who sin...they are just trying to learn and to grow in faith in God and it takes time.

I don't think anyone that goes to church claims to be innocent. We go because we are acknowledge we are flawed and seek the guidance and strength to stay on the path. We all know that life is not always easy. If your church and your faith give you what you need to make it through then you keep going, no matter what anyone says. Perhaps in time your girlfriend will grow some spirtually and, while she may not agree with your faith, be able to understand why you go to church and what it does for you.
