A blonde, wanting to earn some money, decided to hire herself out as a handyman-type and started canvassing a wealthy neighborhood. She went to the front door of the first house and asked the owner if he had any jobs for her to do.
"Well, you can paint my porch. How much will you charge?"
The blonde said, "How about 50 dollars?" The man agreed and told her that the paint and ladders that she might need were in the garage. The man's wife, inside the house, heard the conversation and said to her husband, "Does she realize that the porch goes all the way around the house?"
The man replied, "She should. She was standing on the porch."
A short time later, the blonde came to the door to collect her money.
"You're finished already?" he asked. "Yes," the blonde answered, "and I had paint left over, so I gave it two coats. "Impressed, the man reached in his pocket for the $50. "And by the way," the blonde added, "that's not a Porch, it's a Ferrari."

Something Worthy of Your Time
Whenever life gets you down, Mrs. Brown, and things seem hard or tough, and people are stupid, obnoxious or daft. And you feel you've had quite ENOUGH!!!
Just remember that your standing on a planet evolving and revolving at 900 miles an hour. That's orbiting at 19 miles a second, so it's reckoned, a sun that is the source of all our power.
The Sun and you and me, and all the stars that we can see are moving at a million miles a day. In an outer spiral arm, at 40,000 miles an hour, of the galaxy we call the Milky Way.
Our Galaxy itself contains 100 billion stars, it's 100,000 light years side to side. It bulges in the middle, 16,000 light years thick. But out by us it's 3,000 light years wide.
With 30,000 light years from Galactic Central Point, we go 'round ev'ry 200 million years. And our galaxy is only one of millions and billions, in this amazing and expanding universe.
*Now imagine two stars dancing together*
The universe itself keeps on expanding and expanding in all the directions it can whizz. As fast as it can go, at the speed of light, you know, Twelve million miles a minute and that's the fastest speed there is.
So remember when you feeling very small and insecure, how amazingly unlikely is your birth. And pray that there is intelligent life somewhere up in space 'cause it's bugger all down here on Earth.
I'd like to give you the web address to this cute song: http://dingo.care2.com/cards/flash/5409/galaxy.swf
