The Snow is Finally Coming Down.

The little white flakes are falling from the sky. Small flakes intermingled with larger ones. My personal preference is the chunky flakes, the ones that stick to your eyelashes. We really haven't had much snow this year. The weather has been warmer too. My daffodils and other bulbs are starting to peek out of the ground. A good snowfall to cover the ground would be wonderful. I just don't want to drive my car in it.

We might be getting some snow this coming Saturday! I am sooooo excited!!!
I love the snow! But I hope it is more than just a dusting. You can't really play in 1 inch of snow. ha ha
I don't like driving in it either. It is one of those things that I will wait until my partner comes home to send him out for milk or something.
OH! And my bulbs sprouted too! Poor plants. They don't know it isn't spring yet. I hope that doesn't stop them from sprouting this coming spring! The weather has been too warm that I find even some trees have grown some new buds! But some bushes look sad because it had also been dry. But we can't turn on the sprinklers because it gets too cold at night....I fear we many loose some plants!

You are really lucky, we haven't had a single flake here in NY City. I am really hoping for snow soon.
Hope all is well

Oh I am so envious. We have only had a brief flurry or two with those tiny little flakes you can barely see.
I love watching it snow and I love seeing everything covered in white. It is so pretty to see new fallen snow.
I must add though that I hate shoveling, cleaning off my car, and driving in it. Lol but I definately enjoy looking at it. And the smell of the fresh air while it is falling.

It is quite lovely to see the trees covered with snow. I love driving, on clear roads, after a snowfall. The scenery is just breathtaking.

Well here in Buffalo He had a huge Early October storm, It was horrible most everyone lost power for a day some even went with no gas or electric for 3 weeks that how bad it is. Tons Of Trees were ruined so sad for the plant life:( But alias it has started to hail chunks of snow finally. I just love the snow:)

It's funny, but when we moved from Canada to Georgia, snow was the last thing I thought I would miss, but I really do, especially at christmas when we used to pretty much always have snow on the ground. Sounds crazy to complain, especially as it was 75 degrees here on christmas day.

Hubby would love nothing more than to celebrate Christmas in 75 degree weather. I would miss the snow. The best memories I have of Christmas are the ones where you wake to find a heavy snowfall. Just like the Christmas that Ralphie woke to in "A Christmas Story". I get a warm feeling inside just to think of it.

It sounds so delightful. I wish it snowed where I live, but it doesn't. We have sunshine 365 days a year.

Oh I want it to snow here so bad. I love to see snow. It didn't snow last year and it hasn't snowed this year yet. It's been kinda warm around here lately though. It is supposed to be 49 tomorrow and then back up in the 60's the rest of the week. I just want it to get cold and snow here so send it my way LOL.

I hear that, I'd rather have the snow but not drive on it either. We haven't had snow either. I can't say I've missed it that much, though. There are days that I wish we wouldn't have much snow.

WOW! We have only had one good snow so far. We are in Kansas. We are suppose to get ice Friday and Snow Saturday. Not a good combo. I also don't like to drive in it but we have a Jimmy with 4 wheel drive so I don't have to worry to much. I can't believe your flowers are poking up already. They usally wait a couple more months. Enjoy your snow!

We have had one bigger snow here in Missouri so far this winter that I can think of. I really am not a big fan of the snow (although as you may have noticed, I do truly love pretty snowflake patterns and designs! *laugh*) simply because of the hassle it creates with the roads, driving, and having to shovel one's driveway. And I much prefer warm weather over cold. But snow is beautiful! ^_^

About two weeks before the actual start of winter we went from one day of thunder/lighting and torrential rains to 15 inches of snow the very next.
What a nightmare! It took over 2 weeks to melt.
We haven't had snow since and at this time of year we're knee deep.
