MyLot - new star feature

I think this is a great new feature, but I do worry about one thing. Can someone that has a lower ranking be mean and give everyone with a 10 a negative ranking? Or am I just worrying for nothing? MyLot has probably thought of this right??

sadly enough this happened to me, I went from a 10 to a nine and have been giving quality discussions. then ran into a mean person who rated me badly. ugh im so upset about it today:( really not fair...

I hope the administrators have thought about that. I know it occured to me also, or if they don't like what you are saying giving you a negative rating, just to lower your "star number". I don't know if the stars are a good idea or not yet. We'll just have to wait and see.

yeah but why would that person do that? it doesnt make a difference to his/her ranking... i cant figure out how to see my ranking! lol

Yes i liked the feature of giving stars for the discussions.Mylot people are doing a great job by keeping this feature.There is nothing like giving a negative response they want to make more quality discussions not just a simple discussions.

I don't think the negative thing will happen. I guess they (The Mylot authority)add this new feature to increase the quality of discussion and respons. So let's hope for quality discussion in mylot.

I don't know why I only have 3 or four stars. I always follow the rules for posting. What do these stars stand for? Is ten the highest?
