I am a constipated person. This has been a problem to me since childhood. I had to take laxatives and slimming tea just so I can "move" regularly. Had already consulted this problem to a lot of Doctors and as expected prescribed a lot of medicines aand stopped me from using slimming tea which I did for a while. But their prescriptions didn't solve my problem . So I reverted back again to the slimming tea, that though it taste so awful, it somehow relieves me from the stomach heaviness. However, Im also worried because according to the Doctors I had consulted, the tea I'm drinking will eventually ruin my stomach. It will make the linings thin that destroys the muscle which is used to control the release of bowel movements. That's scary! Until now, i'm still looking for the best solution to my problem so that i could drop my addictedness to the laxative tea.

What kind of diet do you have? Constipation could be cause by not drinking enough water or not in taking enough fiber.

Hi! thanks for the response. Actually, I eat fish, meat, bread and drink luke warm water. I do not drink softdrinks. I eat light breakfast, light lunch but heavy dinner because I am so exhausted from a 12 to 14 hrs work from an electronics company. Sometimes i skip one of the meals but my problem is still the same. it only eased after
I drink slimming tea.

You have zero fiber in your diet and that is the problem. You need to eat whole grains - found in pasta and breads - and more fruits and vegetables. The reaosn the tea works is because of all of the fiber. Modify your diet and you should have somne relief. I am very surprised your dodctors have not told you to do this.

Well, if you want to get rid of constipation, you can probably do so by eating more fruits that give you fibre. Fruits like papaya have been known to prevent constipation.
