You are aware that this is an urban legend and that the photo was actually of a group of street performers?

I have to say this in middle east countries like iran, in the name of islam, they have a very rigid laws and regulation by which they have severe punishments for those who commit crimes, if a boy is stealing a bread , they should understand that he is poor and is unable to afford it, and should let him go, instead what is the purpose of chopping his hand, i don't think there re going to gain anything out of this.

That is horrible. I cannot understand that being done to a fellow human being, regardless of their religious situation.

Hmmm, first time I heard something like this. May I know which source you got the news? Car rolled over his hand? Sounds like unauthorized public justice to me. But the truth is, in Islam, you don't get you hand cut for stealing bread. If they do, the authorities which allows this has already against the teaching itself. There are many conditions to be met before someone being if he is found stealing, and in Islam, stealing food IS NOT one of it. I believe, if the news is correct, the person who heartlessly punished the boy was doing it himself out of stupidity and irrational judgement. He is guilty of doing damage, and in Islam, the criminal of such crime will be punished equal to the damage he has done. In this case, he will lost his hand.
