It's all most Halloween and I do not have any ideas for a costume yet. I have to have something though for when I go to the annual party the saturday before Halloween. I don't have a whole lot of money at this time and I'm not very creative (I can't sew or anything) So I was wondering, if I list some of my interests and some possible costume ideas that I had can some of you perhaps come up with some unique and cheaper alternatives to going out & buying a store bought costume? Any help will be greatly appreciated! The only costume ideas that I could come up with are Harley Quinn (From BATMAN) and A Fairy... And some of my interests are- Fairys, Cats, celtic mythology, gypsies, vampires, angels, baking.... and that's all I can think of right now ~sigh~ so if anyone can help me come up with a super simple, unique, cheap costume idea that would be very much appreciated! :-)

You say you like to bake, so go as a cook. Make yourself a big paper hat. Wear a white outfit and an apron. Carry a wooden spoon and a basket of home baked cookies.

I think pirate stuff is going to be big this Halloween. I'm betting a person could come up with their own custom pirate outfit from items they already have at home. If you want a gypsies costume you might also be able to come up with most of the components for it with what you have at home.

I wish I could help you a bit more with this one but we don't celebrate Halloween here in Australia. Do you have an Opportunity/Charity Shop near you where you can get cheap old clothes. If so, how about going as a Gypsy because all you will need is a brightly coloured outfit, including a scarf and lots of junkie jewellery, and bracelets would probably cover that. Good luck and hopefully someone else will now respond and give you some better idea.
