Do movie theatres charge too much money for snacks?

How many times have you gone to the movie theatre and end up paying more for snacks than what you paid to see the movie? Do you think it's right that they charge so much?

Movie theaters rip you off on the snacks. You end up paying double the price of admission for them. Popcorn is the worst, this is the cheapest snack money can buy, and they charge 50 times more. Its a shame, I think this is why more and more people are filling their pockets full of goodies before they go. I always do.

Yes, I do that too. I empty my purse before I leave the house and then go get snacks somewhere else and put them in my purse. Most theatres tell you that you arent allowed to bring in your own snacks but what do they expect you to do when they charge so much??

movie snacks - my favorite snack when going into a movie
In our city, movie theaters do not charge much for the popcorn, hotdogs, nachos & drinks but some snacks like MnM's prices are 10% higher than the ones in the supermarket. I don't know why they charge so much, it's obvious that people just buy their snacks at the supermarket when they watch a movie.

yes they do and i think to many . I don;t buy snacks in the theatre I muy chips in shop there are less cheaper ;) . So what can i say just have a good day .
