In My Discussion Update on Crisis Loan I had to report to this afternoon and everytime I clicked on one of those Guys to report it would not let me report that Person then I saw another Person on the same Page who spoke a load of rubbish so I reported him and I copied the other Persons Name and reported him at the same time
Tonight I went to respond to a Response nad both of them have gone so People give mylot their Due they are responding and cleaning up
They are not ignoring People

It's great to hear things like this, because these people are so blatant on here. I think that MyLot is trying to keep up. Can you imagine the number of abuse reports and negative ratings that they have to deal with every day? It must be phenomenal! We just have to continue to do our part and post to quality discussions and keep using the ratings appropriately. Thanks for the update!

It is getting better. I have only been here a short time and have seen great improvement in that short time. I am also on another site like mylot, but this is my absolute favorite one.

I hope they don't. Cause I have seen cases that they ignore them just because they have too much action in here.

When they delete a spammer/cheater, do we lose credit for their response? I mean if they delete 10 cheaters and all 10 had replied to a discussion, does the response count go down? And if they delete their topic, that is why my number went down if I posted to the bad discussion.

I know if you responded to a discussion started by a spammer/cheater and it gets deleted. You lose what you had earned from your response. I am not sure what happens when a response to your discussion gets deleted.

I believe so also, the good thing is that we get to pick our discussions, so pick them wisely, and ask around if the discussion is spam or cheating. Sometimes, you can tell easy enough, other times you can't.

Yes it's wonderful the great job Mylot is doing. I think we should also all give ourselves a little pat on the back for reporting cheaters and scammers. I know I have done alot of reporting as others have. It's really nice to see it pay off. I already have noticed a big difference just in the past couple of days. People are paying closer attention to what they are doing. More people are learning the guidelines.
I'm just having a great Mylot life right now.

It's great to see that mylot is indeed doing something about the cheaters. One of my posts was copy/pasted the other day..The saddest part was the guy even copied my signature! LOL
How sad is it that some people work harder to cheat the system, rather than just do the work.

Thanks for providing this information. It is in the interest of all that such cheaters and spammers get reported as early as possible. Otherwise they will simply choke up the discussion forums and quality discussions will be ignored. Thanks to MyLot editors as well who are taking the pain to ensure that this website is quality controlled.

Good to know that MyLot is a responsive site. Keep it up and maintain the rapport with members.
There are some sites which have grown very big with time and with the numbers, they become complacent and no longer pay attention to the needs of members. "Take it or leave it" becomes their attitude.
Hope that MyLot does not go down this path and deviate from what they are doing right now.

Its good to see that mylot is taking actions against spammers and cheaters because these people do a lot of damage to the community and should be blocked. But in the same way mylot shoult also reward good active users.

Good news and this will certainly make mylot an even better place. I have read about many people complaining about losing discussions. I never reported anyone for abuse though I get sometimes people who answer with things that have nothing to do with my discussion. But I think I will have to start doing that.

I'm wondering why it is that people you are reporting are being deleted almost immediately and someone I've been reporting almost continuously for two weeks continues to post. This person is posting nothing but poll questions over and over. This is blatantly against the myLot guidelines and I have reported well over 50 of his hundreds of "rubbish" discussions but nothing happens. I'll give them there due as soon as I see this person is completely gone.

Dear gabs, its really nice to see myLot taking action on users' complains. But I hope myLot first verifies if complaint was legit. You see, if jealous, meaning people start reporting just because they do not like you or hate you for reasons only known to them and myLot takes action, then you would be really disappointed. I do hope myLot have some good mechanism set up to catch such culprits. Users here do spying on People they do not like and wait for any chance to exploit. Gabs I am sorry if its off topic, but in my humble opinion its relevant.

Hi there
No at the time of this being written it was really bad here
We where verbally abused bu People our Discussions where being copied
So that it was basically the obvious ones that where being removed
I will never report anyone at all unless it is a genuine fact that they are cheaters or being evil
