A long hair question

My hair is very short right now. I have alot of weight on and I think the cut helps make my face look smaller than if I had long. I am from Canada. The longest I had my hair was shortly below my shoulders when I was about 11. That was a long time ago.

Hi, Marge. As you can see in my picture, I've worn my hair very short for a long time. However when I was in High School my hair was quite long (up to my butt) but it was always neatly tied up in pony tail. I prefer short hair because it is easier to manage, looks good on me (I look younger with short hair) and also costs less because I use less shampoo. How I hate it when I sit beside someone whose long hair is not tied up and gets blown to my face or tickles me! There are girls though who really look very nice with long hair ... my daughter and you, for example. I'm from the Philippines.

It is almost at my shoulders, this is by far the longest it has ever been. Well actually thats a lie, it was practically the same length yesterday and the day before and the day before that (well you get where this is going). What i'm trying to say is that until this time last year i'd always had really short hair. However the hair will have to go soon, i need a job and people don't hire hippies

the longest my hair has been is shoulder length. I always wanted long hair but it does not seem to grow any longer. its actually a little shorter now as the last time I had them cut I told the stylist to take more off for a different kind of look.

I have been keeping my hair pretty short for about 10 years now. It is easier to take care of that way. By the way, I cut my own. I do not like others to cut it anymore. At it's longest was in 1970. I am 5'4" and I was sitting on it. I had a friend pull it into a ponytail and cut the ponytail off at 27 inches long, and I cut it short from there, and shaped it, then I have kept it cut ever since. I know boo hiss right? I just couldn't take care of it anymore! It was getting into everything, including almost getting caught in a fan!

Hi dear i m from India. I m having hair about 6 inches long. Shocked!!!!!!!!! Coz i m a male. But others say that i m having very healthy n silky hair. This is due to my mother. She is having about 27 inches long hair. Thanks to her :) Bye.

I have a very good growth n need a cut every 15 days to manage them properly, right now I'm allowed to keep them only about 100mm long, though i would love to keep them atleast shoulder length, I love long straight hair, my son is keeping them long these days n i like them.

I had worn my hair long all of my life, up until about 4 years ago when I had my waist length hair cut to my shoulders. I now wear it just below my ears.

My hair is shaved now almost bald(skinhead) and I've grown it longer than in my profile picture probably just past my ears, and I'm from the UK.

When I was a kid my hair went all the way down my back. Again I grew it out that long when I was getting married. I wanted to have long hair to wear down. I ended up wearing it up. lol Since then I have always kept it around my shoulders or shorter. I would love to chop it all off but my hairstylist says my hair is too fine to go really short.

I prefer to have long hair,And my hair is long up to my waistline... here in philippines we want long hair.....look simple and attractive.

my hair was almost on my waist but i went to my hairdresser yesterday and cut it just a little coz im having a hard time taking care of it.

I am from the United States. When I was in high school and college my hair was long, midway down my back. After graduation from college, and becoming a nurse, during my working hours at the hospital it was required that hair be pulled back in a pony tail or otherwise off the collar. Since my hair was pulled up/back 8-10 hours a day anyway, I got it cut to shoulder length. Gradually over the next 5-6 years I continued to get it cut, until it was very short...and that is how I have kept it since! With my profession, and the early hours that I have to be at work, it is just easier to have a short 'blow and go' type hairstyle! My daughter has long hair, it is the exact color that mine was at her age (a strawberry blonde/red) and it often makes me miss my hair! It also takes me down memory lane when I look at her! Thanks for this question and the trip down memory lane that it forced me to take!

My hair is short and fairly fine and have never been able to grow it much past my shoulders as it is quite curly when longer. I am from Australia.

I do not let my hair grow very long at all as I like my hair short and my friends and family seem to like my hair better short. Many people, both male and female, look good with long hair. Probably the longest that I have had my hair was half way or little less than half way down my neck. I am from the USA. :-)

My hair is too my shoulders now. I have had it short until the last few years. When I was a child I had hear to my butt. My mom cut it because it was too hard to get a brush through after I'd been playing on the farma and in the woods. I'm from the US.

my momma my 2 youner sisters and i all have hair down to our waists almost ,we live in japan and we all love long hair and wouldnt cut it short ever. i did once 4 years ago friends at school talked me into cuting my hair short and after i did i regretted it.long hair for me!!! i was gonna post a pic in responce but i cant yet sorry

i have shoulder lenght hair ,my hair growth is less ,so never have chance to keep long ,i like long hairs.i m frm INDIA.

I do have got hair extended upto a little beyond my shoulder. I just trim it at this length always. once I had hair upto my buttocks when I was a child. My origin is USA. But, rite now I'm staying in UK.
