Boy do I know what you are going through. We have a neighbor that lives in thee apartment above us. She is in her 80's and is retired. She is home all day and everytime I go outside to do anything she stopzs me to talk to her. She askes personal annoying questions and she is always calling the leasing office and telling on us for things we did not do. She said we let the dog pee out front.. we never do that..
So yes I understand and there is nothing we can do but move. Honestly who wants to move all the time?

Any chance to tell him that you and your Husband need some privacy once in a while ??
I know it would irritate me like hell and I wouldn't put up with it in a long run - I love my privacy and hate people who impose themselves on me/us ..

Guess one option for you would be if you and your husband would put on a little act and go for a couple of more dinners at your neighbours house and just be as boring as you possibly can without being rude. Talk about things you know your neighbour doesn't like. Just bore him to sleep and see if he invites you again.

My neighbours are snobs, lucky me hay. My last neighbour stole out of our garauge, the neighbours before that came over all the time, and then tried to take over our property, so we sold up and the new neighbours have had the property on the market for over a year now, turns out they had the same problems as us..

Well this guy appears to have made several enemies. .
Obviously a sychological problem of some kind.....
Last nieghbour of mine had a dog that he would leave in his yard so no one would enter his home after anoying others. After a month of befriending his dog. I went over gave him a serve with iceing on top and kept his dog....

I don't have that problem, as I have no neighbors and like it that way. I'm a hermit. hehehhe. It's great.

I've pretty much decided that keeping to oneself is best when living in a neighborhood. I say hello when they're out. I've helped them in need. I just prefer to keep a distance. So far we've been pretty luck and there hasn't been any real issues here. I think people are just a little too nosey about each others lives when they start getting into each other's business.

Some people just don't know what boundaries are. You have to teach them how to treat you. Maybe this neighbor is just lonely.
At least he's not loud. I have a neighbor who is not working right now and he has his friends over until 2 and 3am singing karaoke and playing cards.
I hate comming home, everyday having to wait until his friends move their cars and their bodies out of the way of MY driveway before I can park my car. I believe that's just totally inconsiderate. I have to have discussions with him periodically on neighbor etiquette.
Your neighbor just sounds lonely. But, that can still be annoying.

He does sound a bit obsessive and like he cannot take no for an answer. It sounds a bit scary actually. We had these neighbours who would have parties till 4 a.m in the morning but thank God they have gone now.

I am very lucky to have quite neighbors who keep their distance, but are still friendly and sociable. But that sounds really annoying.

i had a neighbour like this - maybe hes lonely? its still a pain - ours was a couple and the wife was constantly flirting with my hubby and her hubby would make double sense comments - we then found out they were Swingers so i had an excuse to be rude LOL!!!!

i definately get tired of my neighbors, they are the rudest people here. well most of them.
they can't drive/park, they have to slam their doors everytime they leave or get home (we live in an apartment) forget that poeple live around them...and definately below them! Upstairs neighbors do laundry at like 5 AM!!!
