Until my husband met me he had never seen someone literally gag when they put food in their mouth. There are just certain types of foods that I can't stomach. At the top of the list: cottage cheese, olives, and peas. What are foods that make you gag?

Oh, this makes me gag just to think about it. It's something that my family makes. It's call reebul soup or rueble soup, I don't know how to spell it. Oh, it's nasty and I cring at the thought of it.

Ewww, cooked broccoli, spinich (sp), asparagus, cooked cauliflower, and any type of seafood (YUCK). Oh, I don't like cottage cheese either, and I can't stand to watch someone else eat it either, lol.

I know alot of people who can eat anything, but then there's me. I am probably one of the pickiest eaters but i love to cook. I think sometimes it's more of a texture thing but sometimes foods just taste plain gross like cottage cheese yes but also sour cream.

I haven't found a food that has made me gag. I have tryed almost everything. I believe that you can knock it until you try it. I am afraid to try blow fish though. They say if it is not cut right it will kill you. That food I will just stay away from. If there is any chance that I will die from eatting something then I rather not eat it. I haven't tryed squid either. But I don't want to. It just looks so nasty. Its weird because you gag but I love cottage cheese, olives, and peas. One persons trash is another treasure. As they say.

Well, there are a few foods that disgust me to the point of wanting to gag. I absolutely hate olives, both black & green ones. I also can't stand caviar or even the thought of putting raw fish eggs in my mouth.
One more thing I don't like at all is sushi....in particular the California roll. They're the ones that are wrapped in seaweed & have the sticky rice and raw fish mixed in it all together. I tried them once & I just didn't like the taste all to much.. Maybe if they we're made a certain way or there was a certain sauce to go with them.. Then maybe my mind would change. But I highly doubt it! . .
I don't like fish with bones in it either so I prefer my fish boneless. If I find a bone in it, I'll get close to gagging & just be turned off from eating it all together. I hate blue cheese & the thought of it makes me gag. The smell is just so nauseating even the slightest smell of it & my gag reflex will kick right in. Just the thought of eating cheese with mold built right into it just makes me become weirded out. It's to disgusting for me to stomach. But I know some people like it & I guess everyone likes some things & other's don't. As we all have different preferences when it comes to foods.
We tried to eat organ meats one time to.. And I know that my other half can't stand organ meats now. He ate them when he was younger as well & the way that it was prepared made him dislike it to the point where now the thought of it makes him sick. He decided to try it again sometime but it just didn't go all to well.
So, in conclusion, there's a few foods that neither me or my other half will touch with a ten foot pole.

Sometimes I wish all food made me gag, just long enough to lose about 20 pounds. Seriously, though, I love all food. The only thing I don't like is perogies, but they don't make me gag, they just upset my stomach.

I can't say that there are any foods that make me gag, except raw onion, there is stuff that I definitely don't like that I've tasted and tried it but just can't like it. The only thing that gets me gagging I guess is taste of raw onion when someone has been making a sandwich or a sandwich shop has put your bread or roll on a surface that they have been cutting onion or used the knife that they cut an onion with and that taste gets on the bread, I definitely do gag at that and makes me want to spew. I don't like raw onion at all but can have cooked or in things that its cooked with, even then I like my onions small and finely chopped not big stringy horrible chunks, yuk!

I'm not very fond of fish, especially if it's raw like Tuna Sashimi. My husband loves that food but I don't really like it.

MUSHROOMS!!! They kick in my gag reflex like no other food can. It's a texture thing, they give me the feeling of having rubber bands in my mouth.
Organ meats are another thing I can't stomach. The idea of eating organs gives me the heebie-jeebies.

There are only a couple of foods that actually make me gag. Tuna fish...canned, raw, cooked fresh...doesn't matter, & some casseroles with creamy sauces. I cannot eat things like homemade chicken & noodles because the sauce makes me gag everytime.
