A week ago my hubby started his diet(cutting out with sweets and brisk walking) because he gained a lot of weight during the holiday(christmas)season but honestly since we got married he gained more than a stone. So just last monday he weigh himself and found out that he already lost 4 lbs. Im really glad about it and looking forward for some more pounds to loose, any diet tips or suggestion there? everybody's welcome to share your experience with regards to this topic.

I say, just be sure your encouraging him.. weight loss is so hard and its easy to want to give up. so just make comments to him on how u think he is doing so good! :)
Also, drinking lots of water, cutting out pop, eating lean meats and lots of fruits and veggies.. even diet pop is not good for u so if he drinks it and could either cut it down or cut it out completely, he would see a big change.
anyways, lot of luck 2 u both!
Have a great day :)

Thank you for responding to my discussion. Yes i know that it is very easy just to give up but i supported him totally with this, i also go and walk together with him, i'm giving him just a small portion of rice dinner time, he cut out from his coffee consumption and is really doing great. Thanks again.

Giving each other support is the main thing here and giving heaps of credit can also help. For me I am trying to shed a bit of weight but Christmas has not made it easy! (my excuse and I am sticking to it! lol) But the cutting down on "snacks" and sweet things do seem to help also walking is another good way to go! As for dieting it can be hard to stick to as I have found in the past but watching what you eat can make a difference.

make a daily diary of all consumed then also know how many calories to maintain the weight he wants to weigh then the extra exercise will take it off. this is what works for me.

What is a stone in relation to weight? Sorry, ignorant American.
