I do not know the type of durian I have eaten, I just know it is too smelly for me! I prefer the queen of fruits, Rambutan!

DURIAN from DAVAO the best! it just have a nasty smell but once you tasted it you will always ask for more. choose the CHIANi or the type that is so milky. i have tried lots of kinds of the fruit but it's really yummy specially you have it frozen then you'll be eating like a milky ice cream.
i'm a cebuana that really hates durian before but the time my husband brought me to his place in which i can't really resist to give another try since they have plantation of durian then having some of the fruits in the garage during harvest. from then on i found it delicious... once tasted always wanted!

Durian is a large fruit found in Asia. It has a thick spiny rind, with pods inside. The texture of the meat is very nice, but the smell and the flavor are putrid!

I dont even understand why you dont like it ^^ . maybe you have bad experience tasting bad durian ^^. if you try good durian such as durian monthong maybe you dont say like that. durian is a seasonal fruit, it's only sold in certain month. so it'll be a lost if you miss the chance to taste it

Well I guess that's your own perception, but you have to acknowledge the fact that others do love this fruit. Here in the Philippines it is also made into candies, to maybe lessen the smell and for others to have a taste of it. Yes, this friut is smelly that for us who smelled and tasted it were really longing for another taste. Our expression on this was, "Smells like Hell, but tastes like Heaven!" :-)
