Good microbrews from your area?

Does your area have good microbrews? What breweries are they, and what kind of beers do they make?
My area, San Diego, has a surprisingly high amount of microbreweries. Some of the more renowned ones are Stone, Alesmith, Oggi's and Pizza Port, with Stone being closest to home. I bought a Stone Arrogant B*stard Ale the day I turned 21, but my sister's idiot friends stole it out of the fridge when I was gone. I still have yet to go buy another one, but I really should. Stone also markets a smoked porter, Levitation Ale, a pale ale, an IPA, the intentionally extremely-bitter Ruination IPA, and some limited-release annual beers, including Imperial Russian Stout, which is consistantly in ratebeer.com's top 5 beers of all time, and is one I need to get. Double B*stard Ale is another popular one. As you can tell by the names, Arrogant B*stard and Double B*stard (mylot won't let me post if I type the whole word out) are bold, brash, and b*stardly, which makes me want to take the challenge.
Alesmith has some good ones too, and one of them (pretty sure it's the barrel-aged Speedway Stout) almost always makes the Top 3 in the world, sometimes being ranked number 1 in the entire USA. I also have yet to try it, although now that I work within the city of SD itself, I should go find a bar after work that has that particular brew.
So, what does your city, area, town, nation, whatever have? Share it.

That's interesting. Unfortunately, I don't know of a place around here that does that.
