any hindus here..? what would u change about it if u could?

Hi mikaghi, I am a Hindu and have been planning to start a discussion on issues related to Hinduism and it.s practises. I belief the caste system is a social phenomena but has over the centuries been integrated into the religion. My readings on Hindu philosphy and scriptures does not indicate the existence of the caste system. It is an invention of a class of people who wanted to control others using religion.

Being a Hindu I would prefer to change this relgeoninsm that one is hindu, one is muslim, one is sikh, one is christian. Come on man...we talk about god but we forgot that when god made human and we took birth on this earth he didnt put any tag or made any distinction that he is hindu, muslim, sikh or christian then who are we to make these boundaries. Its we who have made these boundaries and if I could do change something I would like to change this and remove these boundaries of religeonism

I am a hindu and I have started doing away with using surnames. My father in law feels they lbel us and divide us hence they have not given any surnames to their sons and I also have not given any to my kids. One more thing i would like to change is the conservative attitude that shiv sena and likes preach. We should do away with so much rigidity and be more liberal and tolerant towards our youth and changing cultural values. I believe in stagnant water gathers moss while running water is called river that replenishes everything which it touches.

If as a hindu, given chance I surely go and gather all hindus into one platform asif now all hindus believe in hindu religion but they have now their own believe and try to make their own entity. I believe that all religion which originate from Hindu religion must come together for a development of nation. then only we can say other to do the same. 2.I believe that caste system should be eliminated in the view of their progress and development. 3.I believe that Education should be neccessary of religion specific as now a days people believe, what others believe and this should not be done.

Certainly exams are important and plays a very important role in individuals education. It helps in evaluating individual at what level he stands and how much he actually understands the subject he learned.
