I am constantly working on this. I read a lot of books and information related to self improvement. I work on many things at the same time. I try to see myself objectively and understand why I think the way I do. I believe that self improvment comes from changing your thinking to that of not having or being to that of total prosperity. That there are no limits in relationships, self, finances, health, happiness, love, and freedom. My plan is to continue to move forward toward having the things I want in life. You have to think about what you want then create a plan to get it. I definitely think that whatever one puts their attention on, that is what they will get in life...good or bad.

I do think i see myself objectively. I saw this discussion and had to talk about it with my wife, and she agrees that we do think we see ourselves the way we are. Now, that's not always a good thing for your self esteem! But i believe you can work on several things at once, although i don't call it self improvement. I prefer to call it working towards who i want to be. My wife is working on her self esteem right now by eating healthy and working out, which i'm also doing, and I'm able to see myself as a man. Not a boy, or an immature guy, but a man who loves his family, thinks of his wife's feelings, and works hard to take care of my family.

Thank you for your post. I like the idea of looking at it that way. Working toward what we will be. Thats a very positive approach since we are a work in progress always.
