My wife has about 30 parrots, including Macaws, African Grays, Amazon Parrots (Mexican red-head, yellow nape, yellow head, and several other types), Pacific Parrotlets, Eclectus Parrots, and Cape Parrots, an species that is endangered in the wild.

We have two right now, Macaw parrots. One is a blue and gold and one is a scarlet. They are noisy! I am still getting used to them as they came with a friend who moved into my house. One should have been named Houdini because he is way too adept at escaping from their cage.

I have an African Grey, she's a small/medium sized parrot. But I would absolutely love to get a Catalina macaw. They're a hybrid cross between a scarlet macaw and a blue gold macaw. The result is a gorgeous orangey colored parrot.

Yes, I have a parrot. I have a Blue & Gold Macaw. She is 12 yrs old. I have had her since she was 7 months old. She is very intelligent, sometimes to her demise...lol I love all birds. I also have a White Capped Pionus named Max. Max is 5 yrs old. Arthur is a Grey Cockatiel I raised him from 2 wks. old. I used to breed cockatiels. Arthur is now 11 years old.

No I dont like to keep birds in cages, I think they should all be left to be free

Since some weeks we have a parrot and we love him very much. His name is Papalorre, he talks,whisles, sings, etc. He is 2,5 years old and still learning songs, words, etc. In the beginning I was a little afraid but now it is nice to hold him on my shoulder.

I would not keep any bird. They have lice. And the screaching would drive me nuts!

i would keep a big parrot if i had enough place for him, but our house is too small to keep a parrot nor, but maybe if i had a house with yard and everything i would deffinitively keep one or two.

Yeah I wish to keep a big parrot in my house but my mom wont allow me :(
