I'm just curious to those people who hides in girls name and vice versa. Others even put girls' photos on their profiles but with no gender on it. Like, let's get to know each other. Would you? So what's your gender?... I'm male, and I love pretty girls!;) LOL

Hi Raijin! I'm female, I promise. But I agree with you - it is annoying that some people feel they can impersonate another just for a few extra pennies. If they feel the need to lie to strangers are they honest with their friends and family?

I am a male and it says that clearly on my profile.. I don't know why mylot is helping people to hide their gender, it's not obligatory to set gender in your profile and a lot of members just have an age without M or F next to it :(
I think it's bathetic that some hide themselves behind a fake photo of a pretty girl when they are men just hopping to make a few cents more..

sometimes, i find it hard also to repond to some discussions because i cannot tell if the person is a male or a female. there are some discussions where we need to specify the gender. that's why i just skip it if i can't really tell.
some people display the picture of their girlfriend/boyfriend. it's just natural because they are proud for their partners. just sometimes, it's hard to respond to their discussions.
by the way, i am a female.

I'm a female, 46 just as it states on my profile. I don't know what people are trying to hide who they really are. I think some people are just plain strange. I have noticed some people with no f or m but an age of like 79. But it's obvious by their topics of discussion they are probably 15 to 20 years old. Maybe they think it's a neat little trick or something. I don't know what prompts some of these people to do half of the things they do. Maybe they are trying to hide their true identity..but for what purpose I can't even begin to theorize. I just chalk it all up to people being people.

Well, my avatar is pretty plain, I am the grandma in that picture. That means female, and loving it.I have seen discussions where people say that a female avatar gets more attention. Like you, I am sometimes confused. Some people are nervous about really letting people know them.
