Have you ever been to a sporting event where the majority of the crowd is rooting for one particular athlete, or team. At the tennis, the Greeks are loud; for Marcos Baghdatis. The Swedish at the Aussie Open as well. England in the recent Ashes series. Any others come to mind?

I went to the football once and sat in the wrong area and they were all for the opposite team and they were all drunk and very loud, it was horrible...

The worst scene I witnessed was at a football even when Malta drew with Croatia. The Croatians saw their hope to make it to the World Cup finals, fade and some supporters resorted to violence. Seats were broken, Croatian supporters ended up fighting with the police etc.

I don't mind loud encouragement at sports events but I don't like violent or even disrespectful behaviors at sports or anywhere.
