Is David Beckham Really worth 250 million dollars to a soccer team in Los Angeles???? This is crazyy!! But its sports! The Los Angeles Galaxy have offered Beckham 250 million dollars for five years to play on their team. I bet he'll make the deal but is David Beckham who is in his early to late 40's worth that amount of money. He was a star in his younger years, and he is still pretty good, but there are still many many many people better than him. Tell me why you think they are making this deal, and if its a good deal!! Im really interested in what people think!@

No he is not worth it as per his playing form but he has got some brand value so the club getting him wants to capitalise on his fame rather than his skill with the ball.

Well, LA Galaxy seems to think he is worth 250 million dollars! I personally do not think he is.
By the way, Beckham is in his early thirties, not early fourties. :)

Most people in the United States don't even know who David Beckham is... and his performance in the World Cup really started to show his age.
They say they paid him the money to jump-start a sagging attendance in the MLS, but again if people don't know who he is then how is that going to happen???Bend it Like WHO? I think is what most people said when the movie came out.
