I am just beginning a new diet routine. Because of my cholesterol, my doctor has decided to put me on a strick low fat diet. What this means:
1. Eat more fruits and vegetables.
2. Avoid fried foods.
3. Avoid saturated fats, like ice cream and butter, and palm and coconut oils in baked goods.
4. Use low fat dairy products.
5. Eat no more than 4 egg yolks a week.
6. Eat foods that are high in fiber, like oatmeal, apples, whole grain breads.
7. Use only lean cuts of meat, and only eat a portion the size of your fist.
8. Eat more broiled or grilled fish and chicken and try to stay away from beef and pork.
They have also recommended that I walk at least 30-45 minutes a day.
I hope this helps you out. Wish me luck, this is going to be tough for me, lol.

I am looding weight by sticking to a calorie count of 1800(varies for everyone). Exersizing regualrly, every day if I can. The trainer at the gym told me that doing weights 3 times a week will greatly increase your metabolism. When you do cardio your met goes up for 24 hours, when you do weights it goes up for 72. Stick to light wieghts so you dont build to much muscle befoer you loose the fat. I just put on enough that I can feel it. As far as the diet goes I am not too teribly strick, if I cheat or eat something a little fattier I just put in a little more time at the gym the next day. I have gone down 4 pants sizes ans my boobs have actualy grown 3 cup in the last 2 mo.

Well, for starters dieting will be the hardest weight. It's easy for people to watch their weight and get concerned with what they eat when they start to lose weight and see results as well as feel results. But more likely you'll feel results before you see results. Whatever you do, don't let no one tell you what your doing isn't losing weight. Cuz you'll balloon up and realize they were wrong. But, now your depressed and have to get motivated and work through anger to start again.
So First:
Decide when to start...be mentally prepared and set realistic goals of what you can do, and listen to your body during exercises...if you get injured or pull something, it will set you back on what you can achieve...so don't over do it. AND don't let anyone try to condemn you, or act like there better cuz your trying to lose wieght so they try to show off there skinness cuz they think your weak and they want to discourage you. There's so real vain, pain in the butts, that think being skinny is the most important thing. I'll tellyou know...why. CUZ they have to be or they wouldn't look good to others or themselves.
So before you start losing weight,KNOW your beautiful, and your not let anyone tell you about your weight, what you can do, or condone you for eating and regulating your body the way you want to. Some people want you to feel like you need there help, and there responsible for you success, and will try to make your self dependent to there approval and not to your own. People will try to exert themselves over you if you let them try. So be careful with whom you tell, and work hard. BEST ADVICE: do it, don't share it.
That's the first thing you got to know.
Second...doing a little a day, and planning time to work out at a certain time will workout better than working out like crazy...then stopping. Just to put on 5-10 before you even started.
3rd...LOOK in the mirror-a full length mirror every 5 days and begin to see the results. It's easy to get discouraged if your just looking at a scale.
now, what you choose is best for you doesn't really matter, it probably will work. But without these three things...You can set yourself up for failure. Well Goodluck
P.S. If you have stairs in your house running up them a few times a day for 2 weeks straight will help reduce weight in your legs, thighs, and cellulite...add walking and results in the mirror will be better...however if you stop to soon or after that your cellulite will come back quickly. This is a good exercise for people with rubbing thighs. I find walking, and dumbells to be a girls best friends. Weight equipment and workout equipment does not need to be bought. The best things are free. Jogging in place, and target flabby areas...is effective..
The TOP 3 methods that work for me:
1). Dumbbell exercises- targets Back flab, arm sag, unshapely arms, or weak arms.
2) STAIRS(really GOOD) do a few a day.
3). Walking, and doing a few quick sprints a day.
Exercise a little a day works good, with 10-20 minutes 3 times a week for like jogging, or and exercise of choice. works best but you can choose what works for you.

I had the most success with Medifast. If you want to check it out, their website is www.medifast1.com. It was really easy to follow and I wasn't hungry at all.

Best way to reduce weight is to be on a perfect diet. Don't ever eat foods with lots of fat in it. I don't know whether you have heard about positrim or not. Its the best thing to reduce weight. You need to take it in morning and night and you have to skip your dinner. If you do this for a month, you will surely lose weight. I did this personally and was able to lose more than 6 kgs per month. Also you need to do go for jocking everyday.

Most of the doctor will ask the patient to walk at least 45min a day and it can help alot. The best way actually is jogging but the reason why doctor don't recommend it to the patient is because you can easily injured your ankle. Overweight people tend to have difficulties running let alot jogging for 30 min.
I am not sure bout the diet but it is best if you eat more fruit and veggie instead meat.
