Can Donnovan McNabb continue?

My husband is probably one of the biggest Eagles Fans there is. He sticks with them no matter what. So, I also watch a lot of their games. They are a great team and Mcnabb is a great quarterback but it seems he gets hurt more and more. We have been having a discussion about whether or not he should continue and whether or not the Eagles should keep him. What do you think?

I think he is a great quarterback and I hope that he makes a full recovery. I am from PA, but I like the Steelers. I still respect him though and believe that he is a great leader and they are a better team with him in there. They are having an amazing year with Jeff Garcia, and I am happy that they did not melt down after McNabb had that horrible injury. Good luck this weekend against a tough Saints team. I will root for your team because I am a Pennsylvanian as well :D

I too hope he makes a full recover and comes back next year stronger than ever and able to be healthy again. He does not have to worry about his job as it will still be his and hopefully Garcia will stay around for another year just in case. He is a leader. He handled the T.O. situation very nicely I think.

Good quarterbacks are hard to find these days so I am sure he will be back and will be the starter for next season. He has been getting hurt a lot the last few years but he still does a great job and puts up good numbers and gives the ball to everyone in their offense. Hopefully Garcia will be his backup again next year. He will be fine though he did not look very happy on the Eagles sidelines versus the Giants.

I noticed that too, that he didn't look very happy on the sidelines! I am ecstatic to see how well Jeff Garcia has played. At first, I hoped AJ would be backup qb, but as time goes on, Jeff has shown us why Andy Reid chose him!
And yes, I feel terrible every time MacNabb goes down! But I still think he's the best qb for Eagles!!

It was sad to watch the Eagles lose last night and now Donovan will be back next season and see if he can take us to the promised land. He still is the quarterback and hopefully he will be ready to go next year and follow what Garcia and the Eagles did this year.
