Awww... how wonderful. What breed of puppies are they?
You should probably call your vet tomorrow and find out if/when they need to see the puppies. All I know is that you have to make sure that all of them are nursing well. I know really careful breeders weigh the pups every day or on some regular schedule to make sure that none are lagging behind. Also you need to make sure that the mom doesn't accidentally lay on one and suffocate it. I hope they are doing well and all survive and that you find them all really wonderful homes.
Best wishes!!!

Hopefully someone will post that either breeds or rescues dogs and would know the answers to help you.
But wow! You should learn this kind of stuff ahead of time! I recommend as soon as you possibly can, take your dog in and have her spayed!
You got lucky this time that nothing went seriously wrong so far. But someone so unknowledgeable should not be breeding. Do your dog a favor and have her spayed!

Awwwwwwwww, congratulations on your new puppies! I had a female dog years ago when I was a kid and she had two litters of puppies. As I recall, puppies just do tend to whine alot the first couple weeks so I think that is just normal. As long as you see that she is feeding them and caring for them, you have nothing to worry about. It is a good idea to call your vet if you have any concerns or questions.

She should just naturally take care of the pups. As long as you don't notice any problems with them, you shouldn't have to take them to the vet yet. I think at about 1 month is when you should take them. They won't need any shots til about 6 weeks. Enjoy them while you can, they don't stay that little for long.

Puppies are great. I love puppy breath.
Puppies do whimper and cry quite a bit there first week or so. I would suggest not interfering too much until their eyes are opened. Give most of your attention to the mom so she doesn't get jealous of the pups.
