For me never and I don't find it a good idea I like to know the person before dating because there are many people that are liars and never tells the truth to you so how you could know if this person is good or bad there are many cheaters on the net not even telling thier true name.

That's why you meet in a public place the first time.
Ask to check their ID no offense just being careful.
Tell someone where you're going and who you're meeting.
Usually you exchange picture first and talk on the phone.
I wouldn't object to giving anyone my phone number telling them where I live etc...
It let's them know I don't have anything to hide.
They could even have me meet them and their friends for drinks or something.
And if you're really paranoid there are places on the net where they can check for a criminal record, marital status, and even credit rating just based on name and address for about $40.

I never tried online dating and will never do it. I think we can know peoples nature only by face to face talk.

That's true but as soon as you have the first date you can figure out if a second date is desirable. How is that any different from regular dating? You just meet online to find each other. And make sure there's no glaring incompatabilities like she's got 10 kids or something.

Uhhh, you just meet them on the computer. Then if you think you'll like each other you meet in person and date just like normal. You tell the system your zip code and how far you're willing to drive for a date and it determines which women are in your range.

i have already got my patner without online dating .
if u want to date online it's ur wish but in my opinion some are honest and good .rest are passing there times nothing .

Well, do i date online? No, I'm currently happy with the person I am with right now. And for me it is very risky to try online dating because everybody can lie. But for some people it is really worth trying, the decision is all up to you, good luck.

I have dated a few times online. I met 2 people and they ended up becomming very good friends. I still talk to one and maybe there might be some possibility of us getting together in the future. We would have been together already but I don't do well with long distance realtionships. If you want to try it, I say go for it. Good luck.

yes its okay..i have tried that..but you have to be extra careful if you do this...Because there are more possibilities that it could be a lie..people can just fabricate stories in the internet. And also u have to make sure that you have talked to him over the phone before u decide to meet you date or probably see a picture of the person.
Although there are a lot of nice people in the internet...there are alos plenty aren't...
Give it a try though.

i don't like online dating in anyways cause i think that a persone with whome i should go for dating is the well known to me n i know that on internet most people lie.so i don't like all this.

I'd rather meet online, then exchange phone #'s, and if it works out over the phone, we could meet in person. I'd rather date, and make eye contact to her in person than online. She maybe someone online that she's not offline.
