I know there are ways to win on ebay, but I have yet to figure it out. Is it a computer program or do you constantly have to monitor the auction? What are your tips?

There are several ways you can get great deals on what YOU want through Ebay. First off, make your "max bid" the exact highest amount you are willing to give for it, then you dont have to sit and watch it down to the last minute. Also, sort by newly listed, lowest first, and highest first, as well as look at what is offered in the stores for Buy It Now prices. The other thing you can do is go to the Want It Now section, and post for what you are wanting, and what price you are willing to pay for it. Often sellers will go there before they list an item, so they can contact a buyer directly. The link for the Want It Now section is: www.pages.ebay.com/wantitnow. Good luck!

Jump in there at the last minute or two before the auction is up.There's a good chance then.Never bid too soon on an item.

I am a last minute bidder. If I'm not ready to pay for the item then I either watch or I put a minimum bid on the item that will end in a few days. Then I wait till the last minute to up the bid or not. I also check buy it now listings because some times they offer Free shipping or it may come out cheaper than going in a bidding war w/ someone!!

One of my tips involved typing errors. It's really amazing how many people describe or name their auctions incorrectly from spelling errors. Most people won't think about typing "cmaera" instead of "camera" and you'll actually find some auctions that never gets bids because no one is looking for that.

I try to watch the item on my watch list and watch how many other people are looking at the item. At the last few minutes, I will make a bid up to the maximum I am willing to pay. This usually works, but I am pretty good at constantly checking to see if I am the winner or not. Good luck.

I too am a last second bidder. But lately I try and find a good deal on a buy it now product. They usually have great deals if you scroll down past the auctions. I have save d alot this way. I also started using Big Crumbs. You get money back on every purchase through ebay. Since I am an ebay addict, it helps bring the price down in the long run.
