Should Girls be beaten by teachers ????????

No girls should not beaten by teacher in a class where co-education exist. Equal right do not mean all work you will share with female example: you cannot be pregnant but girl can. So think wisely about equal right.

Where are you? In the United States it is against the law for a teacher to touch any student. Beating children teaches them nothing but violence. Teachers here would be arrested and prosecuted if they beat any student, male or female.

It's against the law to beat children (boys or girls) both in school and at home. You shouldn't need to be violent to enforce discipline. There are other ways of asserting your authority. Using violence on children only teaches them that violence is acceptable and turns them into violent adults who in turn use violence against others. It's uncivilised as well as wrong.

What kind of laws are there in India? Isn't it illegal for teachers to beat or physically discipline a child? In the U.S. a teacher would go to jail for hitting a student, whether it is a boy or a girl! Physical violence against a child by anyone, including a parent, is wrong! As far as girls and boys being equal, I agree with you there; both sexes should have equal opportunities to learn and to succeed, but neither should be beaten or physically abused in any way.

Where, exactly, are teachers beating students? This is totally against the law! This should be reported to the authorities at once! I am so glad that I homeschool my kids!

I don't think anyone should be beaten by teachers. I don't think it is the teacher's place to beat a child. There are so many other ways to discipline a child so I would say to figure out something else. I think boys and girls should be treated equally for the same infractions though.

As a teacher I would quit any position where I was required to administer corporal punishment. There are still places in the US that allow CP but they are few and far between.
