Ganguly should he has the right blend of aggression and energy

ganguly all the way mate....shouldnt be a doubt anymore after his recent performances in test matches after that legendary comeback in the cricket team..

i think that dravid would be the captain and he should continue as the captain he is the one who has led to so many winnings in the present. sourav is the bengal tiger but his jaws has become old he has not firm grip . coz of him there has been a lot of mishaps in the team india. we got a lot of news from even the dressing room

It will surely be dravid for many reasons. First is that the dravid chappel combination is sure working great for India and dravid as a captain is smarted and more proactive than ganguly!

Yes no doubt about it that it should be Ganguly.He is a perfect man to take out the best from the boys of the Indian cricket team.

I think ganguly should be the captain once again.His aggresiveness and team -spirit is really wondrful and motivates all players to do well in the ground.I think dravid's captincy is little bit defensive..with which I don't think we make it to the semi-finals of the World cup..So if India need to win the world cup and revive the history of the 1983 then no doubt ganguly should reatin the captaincy once again..

i think ganguly is more aggresive captain than rahul dravid dravid is more calm going captain that may not be the correct aaproach remember ganguly led the team into the finals of worldcup 2003 from down under

I certainly do think that it should be ganguly. But as for the politics and with chappel as the coach of the team, the chances of ganguly becoming the captain is very meagre. But as for stats and aggressiveness, ganguly is way ahead of dravid.

No doubt that ganguly is a much better captain than dravid...but with all possibilities i feel dravid will remain to be the captain as it will be very tough for the players and the coach to adjust to the new person But i am sure ganguly will come good overall and help India win the World Cup Cheers to India

agreed on rest issues that ganguly was a terrific captain but captaincy is no joke that once the player scores runs he should become a captains banished to the shadows . ganguly is returning ffom a long break and i think we should let him play freely first and once he cements himself as earlier in the team then the matter of his captaincy should be forwarded .. .................. but for now please let dada be dada in his devastating form .

Dihearted, you should nto play around with the configuration at the last moment. At this moment, team India is not struggling with the leadership, the win in one test match is proof enough of this. What we are lacking right now is application. I think we should retain Dravid as the captain and let others back him up with their performance. This team has the potential to win the WC only if they get their bearings right.

hii friend. tis ois a tuff call for me as i like both of them but still if i have to make a choise then i would say that ganguly should be the team India captain. He is agressive and was the most successful captain of India. Dravid is a very good player but he lacks the agression of a captain and things sometimes slip from his hands and India looses. On the other hand Ganguly was agressive and India won the maximum no. of matches under his captainship. Just because he went through a rough patch in his life which evey player goes through, cant say he is not a good player. He is a class act and i am sure that he would be the man of the series in world cup 2007 and prove all his critics wrong. So in my opinion Gnguly is the man for worldcup 2007.

even i think that it should be ganguly, who should j]lead the Indian cricket team in the world cup, but for that to happen he needs to go some distance yet and and cement his place further in the ODI team with superlative performances and also improve his personal relations with the coach which is critical for a winning combination of captain-coach for any team.
