Ingrown toenails!!!!

HELPPPPP!!!!! My 2 yr old daughter has one. weird I didnt even think that babies could get them. How do you get rid of it?

Hi tohot...I just had an ingrown toenail surgically removed. I first tried soaking it in epsom salts but it just takes the pain away temporarily. Finally I went to a podiatrist because it was just too painful. The worst part was when he numbed my toe with novacaine. If I were you I'd take my child to the doctor. I'd be too afraid to handle it myself.

Ouch! I think if my two year old had an ingrown toenail I would take her to a professional like her doctor. You probably could do it yourself, but some children have the tiniest toenails! It is hard to see just to trim the ones that are not ingrown. I hope you get her fixed up though, poor little thing!

This one is easy.I just started a discussion about it.Vicks is the cure.Put vicks on it,put the socks on.Do this everyday until it is softened up enough to cut it out.Just be very careful when cutting it out.Use the correct toenail scissors.
