Are you a Mountaineer?

I had a boyfriend in college who was an officer in their university's mountaineering club. To make the long story short, I was allowed to climb with them even though I was from another college. I loved it! I love the feeling of being close to nature, experiencing it in the raw, and the sense of fulfillment when you reach the peak. It's a different kind of high, clean high, if you know what I mean. Have you tried being a mountaineer? How about hiking or trekking? How does it feel? What do you think of people who engage in this kind of sport?
