MyLot or Yahoo Answers

I like the fact that generally, you won't find the hate/racist/sexist comments on MyLot that you would on Answers. I had been playing with Yahoo until I found MyLot, and I enjoy it here much more. I can read discussions without vulgarity (which I'm not a big fan of) and I'd let my neices/nephews play around here before letting them on Answers. I think parents can have a big influence on MyLot simply by allowing their children to view content here rather than on Yahoo-Yahoo Answers seems (to me at least) to have a large population of young people/teens, and if we can "hook them" now, they'll share this site with friends and encourage them to visit/join.

I think Yahoo is better for answers to specific questions, most of the questions on myLot seem to be pretty rubbish lol and if you ask decent questions then you don't get many replies

I think trying to compare MyLot to Yahoo Answers is like comparing apples to oranges. They're not the same thing.

ive only been to yahoo answers a couple of times so I wouldnt know.

I never used Yahoo. I used MS live but didnt get any answer so i think mylot is the best.

Yahoo will have to implement a better reward than points. What can you do with points? I think myLot will quickly pass Yahoo. I'd hate to see Yahoo buy myLot.

myLot may move ahead but yahoo i just financially stong and they have a big market presence.

they are two different types. Maybe for the time being mylot is growing faster,but in the long run I think Yahoo will succeed.
