Just think what McDonalds and so many other fast food places have done to our eating habbits.
I am sorry but yes we do eat at McDonalds but still when me kids say they rather eat at McDonalds then have a home cooked meal I am hurt. And the funny thing is I don't know why. There is just not the same atmosfear around the table as there is with a home cooked meal.

I can't stand McDonald's - haven't eaten it in about 2 yrs. Everytime I get even a small craving for it I think to myself - where the hell does the beef and chicken come from?? Fact is I know and it's pretty disgusting...

The last time I went into Macdonalds? Er back in September when I went for a strawberry milkshake in Lowestoft. I hate Macdonalds and the only thing I will buy from them is a milkshake, I won't touch their food. I hate junk food anyhow and I probably go into Macdonalds twice a year MAX. Wow you have been busy with your research. The place is a goldmine!

How do they get all those Big Macs made? There is probably a factory somewhere that makes all those patties and then flash freezes them. The trucks arrive at the back door of the McDonalds stores every few days to drop boxes and boxes of food. Where is the factory? Does any one know?

Great post and really interesting. Man the money they make must be unbelievable. I remember when I was a kid and always watching the sign that said 1 million served or what have you. I still love McDonalds fries and think nobody can beat them. The other stuff I could live without but my daughter likes the happy meals.

Wow , amazing facts there . I have rated you for your facts. The last fact is amazing, 3.2 billion pounds of potatoes? But McDonalds , I think might be the biggest food chain in the world , beating every other food chain by miles.

I would like to add another statistic. I haven't ate at McDonald's in over 3 years. I am pround of that. Sometimes, I hear that new coffee is pretty good. Maybe in a few years I will get around to trying some. I beleive my last Big Mac was over 20 years ago. I see they have grown without me. I doubt that their junk food is any better since the last time I had some.

Cofession time .. I have never eaten any food product made in a McDonalds .. a) I really can't get into fast food - from any mass producer .. b) there is no McDonalds for miles and miles - or any other similar outlet c) I really don't go out to eat - I dislike sitting on my own - and I am single !!

I really enjoyed your post. Thanks for the info. I go to Mcee Dee's every morning for breakfast. They have a large menu and you can get a complete breakfast like they serve at a restaurant. I get there about 5:30 am and there is already a long line at the drive-thru. I'm love'n it!

Yeah I read few facts about Mc Donalds but I didnt know about the largest McDonalds is in Moscow. And that too can accomodate 900 people, Thats great. And one more fact I want to add to this is that McDonald started serving Vegetarian stuff in order to satisy their customers in India, and recently I saw a veggi burger at one of the McDonalds in USA itself, my husband and I eat only chicken but prefer to have vegetarian and we were so happy to see a veggi burger at our favourite McDonalds

crap, mc donald's must be like the most prfitable food chain ever.. i know that the burgers are not healthy and all, but daam, they tase so damn good.. hehehe.. I heard a story abt mc donalds where once long back some lady was served coffee in a styrofoam cup and it was boiling hot and she spilled it over herself and got some burns and all, then she sued mc donalds for loads of money coz it was not mentioned on the cup that the contents were hot.. from then onwards all mcdonalds products have the "caution, contents are hot" label on them... has anybody ever heard this story? is it true?
