Havaianas: a reasonable pair to own and splurge on?

I know that Havaianas (famous slippers originally from Brazil) are expensive considering that it is just slippers.
I am a proud owner of 10 pairs of Havaianas, (and counting!) not because I want people to know I can afford them, but because they provide me comfort every single day and every minute of the day. Of course all my havaianas are in different colors and designs, and I gave them so much thought first before choosing each design to fit almost all my wardrobe. Still smart buying!
I just think it is reasonable because comfort is and should be the paramount concern of all, and because they're really stylish too! Perfect for mall rats like me with active lifestyle. =)
Just wanna know your thoughts too. So I would know if Im making sense, hihi =) And help out those who wanna own havaianas at a lower cost. I can give you a link to owning havaianas at at least half the price! Thanks!

wow! you're really a Havaianasolic! i only own 3 pairs too. high look hot pink, 2006 christmas edition gold and blue mono dots. im planning to buy brazil, top and slim edition to complete my collection but still need to work hard for it. kindly message me the link. thanks!

I love havaianas both for comfort & style.I only own 3 pairs..so far,so good.I'm thinking of buying Ipanema for my next pair.They have cute slippers in gold.

yup. ipanema is also a good brand. i have studied every detail of the slippers and i was amazed by how different its rubber was compared to havaianas. i also love the gold and am planning to buy it ASAP. except that the plain ipanema is expensive. i checkd it on shoe salon and it prices twice a havaianas plain.

oh i see.. thats so plenty havaianas.. I only own one.. they don't have new stocks right now. i think some shops here are now selling crocs instead of havaianas.. but i do love havaianas

Wow thats plenty lol..well i only own one too the Havaianas Joy Pink,I like it so much very comfy although its really a bet expensive but its worth it.I plan to buy later today a havaianas High black one,I hope they have a stock at the mall now so i can get one pair.Its really comfy and on the go flip flop..hihihihi:))

Wow. Just posted something about havaianas too. and i saw this link below. I'm curious about the half-priced havaianas cause I'm quite addicted to it as well. I hope you can share it with me:) Anyway, for me i think it's still not worth the price. It's super expensive, considering the fact that we can buy around 6-10 pairs of local slippers. But yeah, shockingly, i really got addicted to it. I'm not really the type who'd spend thousands of bucks just for a pair of slippers. But there... It's comfortable and stylish, maybe that's why :)

wow. you're like my mom. i plan to collect havis after i bought my first. but when my dad learned about the price of it, he was fuming mad at me. and told me to stop buying slippers that are almost a thousand bucks a pair. and he told me that if i won't then he'll cut my allowance. and i, being scared did not buy another. i only own pink plain havis. that are very very old. (4 years i think). im planning to buy one now that i have graduated and have my own money.
havaianas is a good investment since they are sturdy kind of slippers. my 4 year old havaianas is still usable and way back in college, i wear it everyday even with pants, short or skirt on. it can be matched on every outfit.

I think owning a few pairs of quality slippers are reasonable if:
1. You can afford it
2. You usually wear slippers
3. You intend to use it for a long time
I have 3 pairs at the moment. My first one is from my dad, the second is a personalized pair that I usually wear when I go out and the third, I just bought because I go to a lot of places on foot. And I'm excited because my sister bought me another pair of personalized Havaianas and will be sending them to me soon.

i don't have havaianas yet but i'm planning on buying one because my friend told me that it's really comfy. like you, i prefer comfort for fashion. what is that link where we can buy havaianas for half the price? are they genuine? are they slightly used or brand new. i don't like buying used footwear even if they're slightly used.

oh, you have lots of money..lol you're a millionaire i think coz havaianas slippers are expensive one.. i dont own even one pair of it..i think it's cost P500.++ here in the Philippines, and that's big amount of money for me..i can buy milk and food for my daughter with that cost..it's all up to you if you can really afford all of different colors, coz for me, it's too much to have all of that..but it's your choice, it's your money..

hey thats too many huh! well, as you've said you really like wearing flip flops.,i also love wearing it but since im a working women i just wear it when going to the mall every week so i dont spend too much buying havaianas.,i guess it is reasonable to buy especially to those who are addict in buying some stuff like that.,have a nice day ahead!

i only have one pair and i think its not practical to splurge on it, i mean cmon! its only rubber. come to think of it, rustans or havaianas dealers are just fooling its customers to think that they add too much on each pair, a pair of havs if bought in brazil is only 250-300, i mean, they buy tons of it, why dont they lessen its prize.
