here's something interesting i want to share with all you there at mylot..
my friend , lost exact five kilos in a short span of one week...n how? just by nothing but dancing 2 hours everday..
i feel dancing is the best exercise, its creative , fascinating..plus u dont get bored out of it , so its easy to maintain aroutine with it.
all i wanna say is that do try that out if u wanna shed extra flab from your body..

i actually agree with ragsindian...dancing is the best way of exercise and losing weight for me...aside from the benefit, it's also very much enjoyable...why don't you try eating oats too instead of rice or any fibrous foods

Dancing seems to be good but it is very tough and takes time...
It is not very best exercise when compared to swimming because swimming is the one which consumes very high calories when compared to others...
When u swim u not only lose extra fat and weight but you become very flexible and your become a good structure

Dancing is a great exercise. I wish I had two hours to give to it. I also wish I had some skill in dancing and didn't feel like a fool! LOL

yes! i believe dancing is a way to lose weight but i dont think its applicable all the time. at times it'll take months to see the result especially if the 'dance' taught is basic and very easy. likewise wouldnt be effective if eating habits aren't changed.=D what i would probably advice is to take a routine that would make you really sweat and lose weight! =D

It is very good exercise, although it does have problems associated with it. for one things, you need music, so its a bit difficult to do it when you have very irritable neighbours, or a sleeping baby.
Also, like any other exercise, it is very important to stretch before and after, something people forget to do when they are dancing.
