do you have or ever had a secret diary? someone told me that if you keep your own diary where you put down all what had happened to you in a day and your feeling and fears and desires, helps you to clear your mind thinking much more possitively. and he also told me that this way you can think it over without anyones help that might be confusing for you. does this really work?

I think this is what a lot of people are doing with blogs these days. The only thing is, some one them are becoming rather public, which is not the same thing. But I hear a lot of teens are blogging on their MySpace page and putting up some really personal stuff. I wonder what happens if the parents ever get access to their MySpace page. That could be a problem.....

I had a planner, where I write on everything that happened for a day.
It a great help in my part, sort of a therapy. It helps to burst out my inner sobs, my happiness, excitement.
When I read out the past pages, it puts a smile in my face to remember good or even bad memories.
So, i advice you to have one.

I used to work for a psychology book club (for professional psychologists) and several books talked about how keeping a journal can be a good way for people to express things they couldn't say out loud to anyone. Also the person can look back at what they wrote and see how they were feeling at a particular time or in response to specific events.

i used to have a diary but not anymore..i think keeping a diary only makes you feel vulnerable..yes it's true that writing or letting your feelings out in a diary will really easen or lighten your feelings especially if the emotions that you are feeling are really intense. it helps because you can vent everything that you feel and think without limits. however, when one of my friends "accidentally" came across my diary, she read it and i felt really invaded and vulnerable so from then, i stopped writing my diary already.

i tried it...it helps temporaryly...but if you want to have inner peace, first you have to solve it out with yourself, not with a piece of paper...my opinion...
