This movie is the sequel to Bruce Almighty and looks very funny and entertaining. Evan, the news guy that Bruce humiliated, plays the role of Bruce in this movie and has similar powers to what Bruce had in the original movie. I just saw the previews while at theatre today watching Night at the Museum. People were dying laughing while watching the previews. Will you be seeing this movie or do you think it will be a flop? Did you enjoy Bruce Almighty?

i haven't heard yet about evan almight until now. i hope jim carrey's there as well. but nevertheless, i do think it will be a nice sequel to watch as well and see what happens after his life with Bruce.

I remember this movie-I thought it was extremely funny. I remember the scene where the dog was using the potty in Bruce's bathroom and holding the newspaper with his paws and reading. The look on Bruce's girlfriend, Grace, when she opened the bathroom door was priceless. I will keep a look out for the sequel because I really enjoy funny movies.

I seen Bruce Almighty and really enjoyed it. If Im not mistaken isnt Evan the same guy from "The 40 Year Old Version". If its who Im thinking of it should be funny. I dont tend to like the sequals to movies. It seems like the original is always the best. I havent seen the coming attractions yet but I would most likely wait for it to come out on video before watching it. Best of luck to you!

I'm torn in my opinion of this film, first off the history of jim carrey sequals without jim carrey starring, dumb and dumberer, son of the mask etc they have a history of being terrible flops. But on the other hand Steve Carrell (Evan)is a great actor, and has had recent success in Little Miss Sunshine, i think he may have the ability and charisma to move the spotlight away from Carrey, even if his appearance in the first film is forgettable (like brick tamland from anchorman but with less laughs and less lines.
I do think it will be a commercial success, and pretty well recieved, i haven't seen the previews yet they aren't in UK cinemas.
What did you think to night at the museum? i found it really funny for a PG and ben stiller gives a great performance.

I loved the movie Night at the Museum as it was a very funny movie and will probably go see it again with a friend tomorrow evening. It was better than I thought after seeing the previews. It is hard to have sequels without the main character but Evan should be funny.

We will probably see this movie. We enjoyed Bruce Almighty very much. You might as well give this film a chance too. There are so many other ones that have flopped and we took the time to watch those, so night as well watch this one too.

I saw the previews for it. I will probably go see it but I doubt it will be as good as Bruce. It looks like they just wanted to squeeze a few more bucks out of us at the box offices. I could be wrong though.

Steve Carrel (from The Office, The 40 Year Old Virgin, Little Miss Sunshine) is in it! Of course it's going to be a great movie that will do well. Plus Lauren Graham plays his wife :) It does look really funny and it's one that I can't wait to see.

I loved Bruce Almighty and I look forward to seeing Evan Almighty. I'm sure if it will be as good but I think Steve Carrol is a great comedic actor. I do like the overall idea though so I'll at least rent it. I have seen some of the previews and read about it a little and it sounds like there are going to be a couple nice little twists. We'll have to wait and see.

bruce almighty did not thrill me at all. It had moments but it seemed forced. I felt guilty for watching, like it was a mockery to God. I doubt I will watch evan almighty. If I do it will be a rental or when it is HBO or something.

I saw the trialer on TV and I think it will be better than "Bruce Almighty". Me and my son were laughing out loud by just wathing the trailer on TV which is shorter than trailer shown in the cinema. Although not as well known as Jim Carrey in comedy, this news guy looks funny enough to make us laugh.
