Has anyone been to Australia Zoo?

I have visited the one in Melbourne it is sill nice and big. I heard that Sydney have a wonderful one not to be missed.

My husband and I were trying to figure out how we could go there because we wanted to see Steve and his family. Even though Steve is gone we still want to go.

I just came across your discussion and wanted to let you know that I have been to Australia Zoo. I live in Australia, and the zoo is about a 2 hour drive from where I live. I went there before Steve Irwin got famous, so the zoo wasn't as big as it is now (in fact, it had a completely different name), but we enjoyed it nontheless. We got to hold a koala and have our photo taken with it, which was very special as I love koalas. The kangaroos roam around and you can just go over and pat them, although I stayed clear of the big males! It was a great day, very enjoyable. I know that Bindi will carry on her father's work - she's one special little girl!

I wish I could go but such a trip is far beyond my budget.

I haven't been there yet, but I really want to go someday! I just wish that I had made it there when Steve was still alive. I love the programs they have where you can hold a koala, pet a womnat, etc! It looks like such a great place!

not yet, maybe someday when i have money to spend.i really want to go to australia and perhaps i will visit their zoo.
