Torrent client for linux

Hi i m using ubuntu dapper drake....is there a good torrent client for it....i have used ktorrent which is the default torrent client...but even after portforwarding and enabling UPnP plugin it does not download the file at all....can anyone suggest me some other good torrent client for linux other than ktorrent....

if you using ubuntu, i supposed you might be know their community. it's very big and many information you can find there. i find it very usefull to solved my problem in linux especially ubuntu. www.ubuntuforum.org. try to visit their forum and use the search feature. but as far as i know many torrent client in linux that you can use. one of them maybe azureus. good luck buddy

thanks buddy azureus is working fine after opening and forwarding the ports related to it....it was given in the wiki help for azureus....

I think Azureus has a linux version. Also, if you can use Opera with Linux, its better because Opera has a built-in torrent download manager. =)

try using azureus, im using it for 3 years now, and it has a linux version.

I'm using debian with the newest version of opera browser on it...this browser has a built in torrent client in it ;) pretty good for me
