Do You Love This New Season!

Gosh, can it get any more horrible for poor Jack? As my hubby and I sat and watched this new season opener we had to ask each other if this type of stuff really happens. Living just down the road from the "CTU" in Virginia (right outside of DC) I know folks that serve in this capacity and they are all nuts!! :)) They are owned by their jobs and do nothing else. How do you guys like the start of this season? And, did you see Palmer as the new president or were you a little shocked when his face popped on the screen Sunday night?

I think it's about time Jack wasn't able to stop something big from happening. I think the stunned reaction of everyone on the show to the mushroom was bang on - I was stunned too. I think it was a great cliffhanger for the next episode. I was more surprised at Karen and Bill being married than I wa at Wayne being president. Though I will say, I'm surprised Wayne is such a wimp. I would have thought he'd be more like his brother - the 'we do not negotiate with terrorists' stance.
