why some women do abortion?

You are assuming that all abortions are done because of "carelessness" on the womans part and quite frankly, that is very wrong on your part. I had an abortion and I dont regret it in the slightest, it was the best decision considering our situation at the time and if I had to go back and go through it again, I'd still abort. My husband, myself and my two existing children took first seat and thats how it should be.

Women have a choice to choose whether or not they carry a baby. I do not believe that aborting before 12 weeks is "killing" a live human being. There is absolutely no way that life can be sustained at 12 weeks, although many argue that the embryo will develop into a full-term infant... What about the issue of birth control? When you take the pill, you are taking away the chance for a life to develop and be born, also... The issue of abortion is a much-debated issue, and I think that it should be a personal issue. Women should have the right to choose what is best for themselves. The only time that I get upset is when a woman is careless and doesn't take precautions not to get pregnant, and then has abortions to solve the problem; abortion should not be used as a form of birth control.

it is her own choice we do nothing

a bad result for a bad deed... i am strictly against abortion.. its very inhuman dont you think so?? killing a child before birth.. who are we to decide the fate of a child befor birth.... i think no relegion would ever allow abortion...

well i think certain issues and conditions make a woman do abortion. and its a matter of choice. I think it is the same as killing though, because the baby in the womb has a right to live rather than be killed wifout even comin into this world.

I guess these women has fear. Most of them who do abortion are the young girls those who are teen agers. They fear that their parents might find out that they are pregnant and are afraid of the circumtances that might happen if they continue their pregnancy. They are also afraid to stop their studies if they are pregnant. They have many reasons on why they do abortion. But for me, they should be responsible enough to avoid abortion which is killing someone else's life.

Most women who do abortion are not yet ready to their responsibilities of being a mother. Even though abortion help mininmize their problems it is still considered as a crime.

i feel sad if i saw a woman do that by her baby ! the baby should to live .. but if you do that i think she who have to DIE

Well I guess the reason is plain and simple. While making the deicision may be the hardest thing to do, deciding on aborting is just the simple way of saying I choose myself over you. It's simply the consequence of thinking of your own future than thinking of what could have ever been if you decide to raise that child that you just conceived. It's also a sign of a lack of responsibility for one's actions cause in the first place if some people were responsible enough to think clearly of the possibility of getting impregnated before doing the act, it could've saved them a lot of effort not having to make this tough decision right?

I have no idea. I had more than one miscarriage and even that hurt. Abortion is murder and not only that, one does not know what the consequences are. I've heard that often it is the baby's father or the parents of the girl that drive her to the abortion clinic and make sure she has the abortion. What kind of parents are they? What will they feel like years later when their daughter gets married and finds the abortion killed her chances of having a family? I often wonder why adoption is not offered more as a viable alternative. It seems the women think that no one in the whole universe is able to give the child a good home or they think that when they come home with a flat stomach, no one will know they ever got pregnant. They're deceiving themselves.

I don't agree with abortion but every people knows there reason. If the do abortion they have a good reason because i don't believe that someone do that be happy.

Possible reasons: 1. They were raped 2. They are not prepared 3. They will be single parents, and they are afraid of the negative feddbacks of other people. Anyway, whatever the reason is, abortion is not right. People should learn to control themselves if they are prepared to handle the consequences of their actions. babies should not take the blame or punishment for their parents' fears and wrong doings.

Hmmm let me guess. Cause they got pregnant and they rather not become a parent. Whether they used protection or not, it is still the choice of the two people involved in that pregnancy. Maybe their significant other is not ready to be a father. What I get from your post is that if you got pregnant and your significant other didn't want to a child, you would still have it. If it took two of you to make it then the voice of the father should be honored too if he isn't ready. Think about your future too. If you're young, you'll have plenty of opportunities to procreate. Hey, look around you, it doesn't seem like there are many abortions going on around us. This world is pretty well populated so one abortion here and there isn't going to end the species. Nigel

You also have to take into account the fact that some people know they have inheritable characteristics that would be very detrimental to carry on into the next generation. When you mate with someone who has a lot of the same characteristics it is even more likely that this human you have created will be even more unhealthy.
