What if, one day, the sun gets depleted of its energy and it stop producing light anymore. What you think would happen? Total darkness? I think we probably could come up with artificial sun, if we get more technological advance..haha!

It will not happen. The sun will shine forever even if man perish away in this world. The sun is there even before the world is created. So there is no point in arguing.

If the sun gets depleted then there will be no life on earth because the water cycle will stop because there will be no evaporation and plants will not grow because there is no sun light and soon the earth will be covered in thick snow because there is no heat and slowly all the life on the earth will perish away.

You wont get to see total darkness because when the son stops working it will expload a log whit the galaxy. But some how we colonize a planet whit out sun light they will invent something to light the planet an heat it up.
