well,compared with English, the chinese grammar is much simple, but the four tones will be the most difficult part for you. Anyway, It won't difficult to read and writ. Indeed, the writing is fun.
If you plan to travle in China, it is better to learn the basic way of communication. And if you are a business man, well, it will benefit you, of course.

i am chinese, but i still have to learn it ,for it is a quite complex language, if you want to know it well, you have to learn. and it is also very interesting to learn it . for foreign people learning it is a little difficult, but when you can use it very well, you are a great one, you can use it to do a lot of things, it is rewarding.

Where are you from ? Chinese isn't difficult to learn , if you stuay hard , I think you will learn it soon .

Yes, I am interested in learning the language. However, I am still contemplating on which one -- mandarin or fookien. In trading with a chinese, knowing the language is an advantage since they would give you huge discounts if you speak their language.

yes.I have already learnt the language.Nothing is easy in fact.Just learn and you will know.no big deal.
