Discussion not being posted where I want them to be! Can anyone help?

Hi everyone, I'm new to mylot.. just joined yesterday. I've started a few discussions, by clicking on the 'start new discussion' option, in the menu on the left of the screen. And then clicking the category I want the discussion to be placed in. In the window I type the message, it says the category I want, in the 'discussion interest' field. But when I post the discussion, it seems to be ending up in one of the tag word categories, but not the category I want it to be in. I hope I'm making sense! Can anyone tell me where I'm going wrong? Any help is greatly appreciated :o)

Hi This is not going to help you much, because it seems to me that you are doing things correctly! Are you saying that you cannot find them once they have been posted??

Hi That is strange! But if you want to find your posts, just look in the discussions you have started and they should all be there!

Yeah, they are there, in the discussions I've started. It's just baffling me that they don't seem to be in the categories I've chosen to put them in. Or maybe they're just not visible to me? How very strange! Thanks for your help anyway.. I appreciate it. And hello to a fellow UK person! :o)

I have had this happen too, and when I look for my discussion were it should be it is not there, but somewhere else related. Im not sure either how to fix it. I just dont bother, I figure someone will see it eventually, :)
