A significant other of mine has recently developed breast cancer. I do not know how to deal with it, i pray and hope the doctors help her with it. If you have or had breast cancer please tell me how you are doing and what helps....

I am new to MyLot today but have already found 2 other young women who are also affected by breast cancer. I was diagnosed in the summer of 2005 at the age of 24. I had a mastectomy, 6 FEC chemo treatments and now take tamoxifen...

I am currently taking tamoxifen for the prevention of a breast cancer recurrence. Tamoxifen is prescribed for women who have an estrogen positive cancer - or in simpler terms their tumors feed and live off of the hormone estrogen....
