We have a puppy Old English Sheepdog, born this past July. He is a sweetie and just full of energy. We named him Worf. I wanted to get a female and name it Jadzi, in honor of my favorite Star Trek couple, but I don't think that will happen! One high-maintenance dog is enough for me!

chihuahua?
We call them ankle-biters. They are annoying little beasts, but they are small.
I uploaded one photo in the photo area. Will upload more when I get the chance.

I've always had large breed dogs, but I find ourselves with 2 Jack Russels! WOW what a lot of energy!

I have an offer of a mini-pinscher for free. It's tempting... Just what I need - another pet!

Worf? After the Klingon from Star Trek: The Next Generation? That's a cute and unconventional name for an English Sheepdog.
While we don't "own" Laika, the half-Lab, half-Husky dog we have here (we share her with her legit owner), having her here during the day is sort of having a dog, since we do walk, feed and play with her!

how cute! we adopted a little "mutt" havent a clue what breeds he might be. but he is about 10pounds and roughly the size of a cat.
he is super sweet, and gets hyper often! unfortunatly the little boogers favorite game is "grab the sock and run" argh...

I had to find a home for my Golden Retriever when I had Jesse. For some reason, my allergies went haywire after I had him. I have always been allergic to cats and dogs, but other than a slightly stuff nose, it wasn't a big deal. When I had him, however, I couldn't even let Simba in the house anymore. :*( He was in the attached garage until we found him a home. I know he is happy with the people he is now with (they have 3 kids for him to play with, another dog they brought for him to meet that he played with immediately as well as a lot of land to run on) but I still miss him. :(

As a child we had a couple Alaskan Malamutes, they where beautiful, intellegent, fierce protectors of the "pack." As an adult though i adopted a German Sheperd named missy. She was such a sweet dog unforcenantly with a very sad story. She was from champion blood lines, and was shown as a youngster, later used for breeding purposes. So far no real life for a dog right all kennel time no yard to play in no children to romp with... well after she had a couple litters the breeder gave her to what was to be a good home. Turned out this home wasnt so good as she was beaten abused and abandoned. Luckly she had a chip in her and they had never changed the address from that of the breeder. The breeder got her back and my mom bought a pup for her, and found out about missy needing a quiet home to help rejoin the world which i was glad to provide. Missy was only with me for a year before i had to put her to sleep due to medical problems. in that year though it was great to see her come around and start socialiseing agian. for the most part she wanted nothing to do with anyone else but at times she did appear to be at aleast accepting that not all humans where going to hurt her

Hey Patty
we have 2 jack russel terriers, Ben and Jerry. They are 3 years old now and are still full of energy! My daughter loves tormenting them and they tolerate her well. Maybe in a year or two you could get Jadzi, after things have settled down with Worf?

We have a 4 year old OES. His name is Harvey and he is loved by everyone! Harvey is a real character and still acts like a puppy, he loves his daily walk and patrols the house each night like a security gaurd.

I have a 1 yr old pitt bull named Hunny. She is the biggest baby ever and she still thinks that she is little... loves sitting ON people. My boyfriend works in a pawn shop, and he had a car for sale, and Hunny's breeder wanted the car but didn't have enough money, so he offered some money and a puppy. At that time we were talking about getting a LITTLE dog! But my boyfriend accepted the guys offer. Had Hunny for a week, and then sold her. And then he missed her, so he went and bought her back for more than he sold her for! And that was it, my dream of a small dog was over. I was worried at first because I was pregnant when we got her and I didn't know how she would react to the baby, but she has been an angel with her. My daughter laughed for the first time when Hunny licked her feet :)
