I have always used regular pasta for Spaghetti, Lasagne, Mac & Cheese, etc. The other day, as I was shopping I noticed they had Whole Wheat Pasta. I know this would be better for us to eat, but does anyone know if it tastes O.K.???

Yes, I've eaten whole wheat pasta and it has more taste than regular pasta. Give it a go... I'm sure you'll find it very palatable. I did.

It tastes just fine. I haven't had a lot of experience with it, but I don't remember there being anything bad about it. It feels a little different, but that's about it.

I used to eat it and I have to admit that it isn't very nice. I found that you have to cook it longer than the directions say to make it soft enough to eat. It has a chewier texture.

I think it really depends on each individual's tastes. I personally love whole wheat pasta. It does have a little more flavor too it, but nothing extreme. It's definately a healthy alternative to regular pasta.

It is good, but you should definitely cook it longer, and I wouldn't make it with a bland sauce. I enjoyed it with shrimp and marinara. It was great.

I like the whole wheat pasta. As previously posted it does take a bit of getting used to only because you expect a different taste and texture than you are used to. It's deffinetly worth trying

I've switched to using whole wheat pasta to get less carbs in my diet. It took a little getting used to. I don't think that it's such a different taste, really, but the texture is different. Even if you cook it well, it's more solid than regular pasta. I use it with spaghetti sauce or any recipe calling for pasta, elbows, rigatoni (all whole wheat).

I would be willing to try it once. hehe I like wheat bread and brown rice so could probably get used to it. I know hubby would say it taste like cardboard so I shouldn't bother probably. Let me know if you try it!

It taste ok but it has a different taste. It is not that far off from regular white flour pasta. If you want a healthier option than go for it. I don't think it is that bad but everybody has different taste. Hope this helps you out.
